Hi!! I read the article and quite agree with what it says specially at the begining. Arquitecture used to be an activity that filled a need. But nowadays building don't only satisfy needs, but also show beauty, creativitiness and trending. The problem with this trending, as the article said, is that it is quickly copied. That is why arquitecture in a way is turning to be like fashion: it has to change constantly in order to not being copied. That, from my point of view, may be a reason why they are getting to have things in common. Arquitecture needs new ways of expanding so it gets inspirated in patterns, textiles or textures. Whilst fashion is begining to add some arquitectonic ideas such as volume or storage (just as we saw today with Yamamoto's wedding dress) because they are bored of repeating the same trends again and again. What do you think?
